Candidate for
Director; Contra Costa County Water District; Division 2

I am a graduate of the University of San Francisco, with a BS degree in Business. I have over 30 years experience as a consumer advocate in the economic regulation of water utilities at the Calif. Public Utilities Commission. I retired as the Assistant Director of the Office of Ratepayer Advocates in 1966. Currently I am self-employed as a Certified Public Accountant specializing in income tax preparation and financial consulting.

I have beeen a member of the CCWD Board of Directors for nine years and presently serve as it's President. I am very active in State and Local water related organizations.

ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA WATER AGENCIES (ACWA): I serve on the following ACWA committees, Finance Committee, Budget Sub-Committee, Chair the Audit Sub-Committee, Energy Committee and the Executive Committee of ACWA USA (a joint powers authority)

ASSOC. OF BAY AREA GOVERNMENTS (ABAG): Member of the ABAG Water Task Force, Member of the ABAG Water Management Sub-Committee and Vice-Chair ABAG Governance Sub-Committee

CCWD: I chair the Finance Committee and a member of the Information and Conservation Committee

I am married and have lived in Pleasant Hill for 19 years. I have four children and two grand-children.

I am a avid sports fan being a S.F. 49er and S.F. Giant season ticket holder.
