This information is provided by the candidate

This is a non-partisan race and it is unethical for a judicial candidate to run on a political party designation. The following endorsements are carefully selected to reflect non-partisan support for my campaign.

The Contra Costa Times
San Ramon Valley Times
Antioch Press
The Recorder, a Northern California legal newspaper

The Contra Costa Times wrote:

"Mills offers a combination of sophistication, knowledge, experience and integrity that will allow her to become an excellent member of the Contra Costa County bench...What tipped the scale for us was Mills' poise and polish. Her answers to questions were smart, measured and judicious."

The Recorder found the choice clear-cut and then stated:

"Cheryl Mills' impeccable credentials and friendly yet polished demeanor put her ahead of the pack. A civil attorney for 20 years, she has the knowledge to preside over complex cases and the management experience needed to handle both staff and cases. She also has a clear-eyed view of the court being both a business and a judicial institution...[s]he is articulate and smart. She has experience that will give her credibility with the attorneys appearing before her."

Justice Michael Phelan, (Ret.). California Courts of Appeal
