Questions & Answers

1. What would you do to serve the youth who are ending up in the juvenile justice system?

We have a continuation high school (MacGregor High School) that just recieved the highest possible rating from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. This school does a great job at helping youth with small class sizes, caring adults, psychological counseling for every student, and the like. As a result, very few of these kids end up serious violators.

I also have been a leader in improving our work with struggling students. I believe we need to be more organized and aggressive re. helping struggling students.
