A record of my service to the people of the Tri-City Area
I set 5 goals for myself and ACWD staff when I began my term of service 4 years ago. All goals have been met. They were: 1. Maintain the high quality of your water supply. 2.Provide an adequate supply of water and reduce the effects of water droughts. 3.Maintain the low cost of water consistent with a high quality operation. 4.Provide the best possible customer service. 5. Provide a softer water supply to the northern service area, consisting of Newark, Union City, and Fremont north of Stevenson Blvd. Newark will receive a softer supply in 2003, with the remaining area to be served by not later than 2005. The southern service area currently enjoys a soft water supply.
