Improving Our Parks

By Scott M. Kamena

Candidate for Director; Livermore Area Recreation and Park District

This information is provided by the candidate
How to make Livermore's extensive park system even better.
Livermore is privileged to have parks in every neighborhood along with larger, regional parks such as Sycamore Grove. LARPD does an admirable job of providing and maintaining these facilities, but we can do even better. Many of our parks need restrooms, as well as drinking fountains that work consistently. We need to continue renovating our parks' play structures, as well. These are not inexpensive measures, but things we must plan and budget for to keep our parks top notch.
