I've brought a fresh, new perspective to the LARPD Board and I'd like to continue the work I've started. As a second generation Livermore native, I grew-up playing soccer, swimming, hiking, taking classes, and attending events through LARPD. This gives me both a strong attachment to and a unique knowledge of LARPD that no other Board member shares. This year, I'm serving as the Vice-Chairman of the Board.

I graduated from Livermore High School in 1990 and went on to UC Berkeley, where I graduated with Distinction in History in 1994. I also earned my Doctor of Optometry degree at Berkeley in 1999. I married my wife, Jennifer (also a Cal grad, go Bears!) on July 31,
1999. She now serves as Deputy District Attorney in charge of trials at the Superior Court in Pleasanton.

I currently practice Optometry in Livermore with my dad, who has practiced here over 30 years. I am a member of Livermore Rotary and am Chairman of their Right to Sight Program, which provides free eyecare and glasses to needy schoolchildren. I also serve on the Tri-Valley YMCA Board of Directors and I'm a member of Livermore Chamber of Commerce. I plan to live in Livermore long term and raise my children in Livermore as well.
