Questions & Answers

1. If you are elected, what programs would you propose or support to serve at-risk youth who may end up in the juvenile justice system?

The key to helping Alameda kids who are at-risk--and the key to keeping more Alameda kids from becoming at-risk--is maintaining the high quality of community services that Alamedans have come to expect. As mayor, I will work to keep Alameda schools safe and thriving; to enhance the parks and recreation facilities for kids and citizens in general. A close-knit, caring community will often keep kids from becoming at-risk in the first place. As mayor, I would fight to protect the institutions and programs that keep our community spirit strong.
