Position Papers
Restrooms in the local parks
A recent LARPD survey indicated that many people want restrooms in the local parks, yet LARPD states that restrooms are contrary to their philosophy.
Olympic sized swimming facility
LARPD is short-changing the community by building an inadequately sized pool.
Have LARPD focus more on in-city parks
Most people use recreational areas within the city limits. Most people do NOT use the park trails. LARPD needs to focus its attention on what the people want and use.
