Measure 02-A. Option to De-list Historic Landmarks -- City of Sierra Madre (Initiative)
An initiative measure providing for a 120-day option for owners of properties presently classified as "Historic Landmarks" under ordinances 1036 and 1134 of the city to de-list their properties from the impacts of said ordinances; while preserving such listings for those owners who either do not wish to de-list their properties, or who have received Mills Act contracts or any other grants, loans, tax reductions contracts pursuant to said ordinances.

Measure A. Ratification of Utility User Tax -- City of Lawndale (Ordinance)
Shall the utility users tax, Ordinance No. 757-94, adopted by the City Council on June 16, 1994, be continued (and ratified) in order to maintain essential city services such as police and fire protection, street and sidewalk maintenance, parks, and senior and youth programs, as well as the exemptions from the tax for senior citizens, the disabled, very low income families, and residents of certain government assisted housing?

Measure B. Sale & Use of Fireworks -- City of Lawndale (Advisory Measure Only)
Shall the City of Lawndale continue to permit the sale and use of safe and sane fireworks during the 4th of July holiday?

Measure U. Utility User's Tax Extension -- City of South Pasadena (Ordinance)
Shall an ordinance be adopted to extend the 5% Utility User's Tax for five years from August 1, 2002 until July 31, 2007?

Proposition LB-S. City Auditor Qualifications -- City of Long Beach (Charter Amendment)
Shall Proposition S, which amends the Long Beach City Charter by requiring that to qualify for election for the office of City Auditor, a candidate must be licensed to practice as a certified public accountant in the State of California for at least five years immediately prior to filing a nominating petition, be ratified?

Proposition LB-T. Water Department Employment & Personnel Matters -- City of Long Beach (Charter Amendment)
Shall Proposition T, which amends the Long Beach City Charter by transferring the authority over most employment and personnel matters in the City's Water Department from the Board of Water Commissioners to the Department's General Manager, be ratified?

Proposition LB-U. Civil Service Employment & Personnel Matters -- City of Long Beach (Charter Amendment)
Shall Proposition U, which amends the Long Beach City Charter by transferring th e authority over most employment and personnel matters in the City's Civil Servi ce Department from the Civil Service Commission to the Department's Executive Di rector, be ratified?

Proposition LB-V. City Employment of Veterans -- City of Long Beach (Charter Amendment)
Shall Proposition V, which amends the Long Beach City Charter provisions governing veterans' preferences for City employment, by (1) broadening the definition of "veteran" to eliminate the requirement for service during a time of war, and (2) redefining the term "deceased veteran" to mean veterans killed in action, or who died in action or as a result of a service-connected illness, be ratified?
