Welcome to Smart Voter

* March 5, 2002 Primary Elections.   Candidates for all statewide offices and local contests in participating counties were invited to build pages on Smart Voter. (See FAQ for more information.)

Thanks to all candidates, counties, and volunteers who have helped put nonpartisan voting information on Smart Voter.

* November 5, 2002 General Elections.   Smart Voter will open for the November election shortly after all March contests are official -- probably the end of March or early April. The Smart Voter pages for the primary winners will be automatically copied and published. Candidates may then update their pages as they wish for the November election. Run-off elections may also be supported.
