This information is provided by the candidate

Paul McConnell will represent San Francisco by actively promoting a combination of advanced public policy and accountability. Through his experience as a business leader in manufacturing and as a consistent community leader, Paul McConnell can create positive change in the economy and jobs, transportation, education, and energy -- where urgent change is needed. San Francisco needs some who will legislate on these issues rather than spending the bulk of their time fundraising or playing partisan politics. The time has come to tackle these critical issues, create voter choice for the first time in 14 years, and move San Francisco forward.

Paul McConnell will:

Create legislation designed to move San Francisco and other urban areas forward.

Closely track the money he sends back to the City.

Make public his clear objectives and progress.

Hold quarterly town hall meetings, rotating through the neighborhoods.
