Civil liberties
We are the most successful experment in the history of mankind. A great part of this success is due the our constitutional protection of freedom both in person and property. Civil liberties are an inseperatable part of this freedom. A government must at all times be able to justify its actions to its people. Defense of the unpopular and unfamiliar must be closely guarded if we are to remain free.
