California will undergo dramatic changes in the next 20 years. Our population will grow from 33 million to 50 million, placing greater demands on our energy, water and agricultural resources. Housing, transportation, education and health care infrastructures will be challenged like never before. It will be my priority to address these critical issues with creative, innovative leadership and to ensure that my initiatives become reality through effective coalition building with other Assembly members.
