Measure A-02. Tobacco Litigation Settlement Monies Allocation -- San Luis Obispo County

Shall the ordinance annually allocating 1998 tobacco litigation Settlement Monies As Follows: Funding Physicians Performing Emergency Room Services (23%), Funding Health Care Clinics (20%), Funding Services for Seniors and Disabled (19%), Funding Preventive Health Grants (15%), Funding Tobacco Prevention/Control Programs (12%), Funding Hospitals for Emergency Charity Care and Bad Debts (6%), and funding Sheriff's public safety programs (5%); and requiring maintenance of other County spending on such categories at 1999-2000 Levels, Be Adopted?

Measure B-02. Cambria Grammar School Improvements -- Coast Unified School District Facilities Improvement District 1 (Bond Issue)
2260 / 71.5% Yes votes
899 / 28.5% No votes
To alleviate overcrowding, related health, safety and educational shortcomings at Cambria Grammar School due to enrollment that exceeds State design capacity, shall Coast Unified School District be authorized to incur bonded indebtedness of $12,700,000 at legal interest rates to purchase property and construct classrooms, restrooms, a multipurpose room/cafeteria, library/technology center, music/art room and student support service areas? A Citizens' Oversight Committee will monitor and review independent audit of bond expenditures, and give annual reports to the public.
