Why I am running for College Board.

By Daniel J. "Danny" Smiechowski

Candidate for Board Member; San Diego Community College District; Trustee Area A

This information is provided by the candidate
The politics of truth, principle and ethics.
College Board members get paid nearly $20,000 yearly for a few meetings a month. They ought to put an equal amount of effort into their duties. They ought to address and focus on the Community Colleges as a business enterprise since essentialy that is what they are. Trustee's must be selfless individuals striving for the highest level of principle and ethics. They ought to remain outside any influence pedling and be true to the people. The voters and concept of Public Education are the primary guide in addressing daily issues. College Trustee's ought to take the initiative on issues rather than follow the path of complacency. They ought to develope all areas in which improvement of human energy and resources can be realized. Granted, this is no easy task but can nevertheless come to fruition. I will forever remain loyal, sincere and truthful to you the voter. I am sincerely, Daniel Smiechowski
