Proposition B. Fire & Paramedic Tax -- City of La Quinta

Shall an ordinance be adopted to authorize the levy of a special tax on each eligible parcel in the City to fund fire protection and paramedic services?

Proposition C. Library Services Tax -- City of Riverside
19,699 / 69.03% Yes votes
8,836 / 30.97% No votes
Shall the voters of the City of Riverside increase public library service hours and after school programs for children, and provide matching funds to establish the City of Riverside's eligibility for State of California Library Construction and Renovation Bond funds by authorizing the City of Riverside to establish a special tax within the City of Riverside in the amount of nineteen dollars ($19) per parcel for the duration of ten years only, with such revenues being lawfully restricted for library purposes only?

Measure D. Emergency Department Services -- San Gorgonio Memorial Health Care District
5,683 / 68.71% Yes votes
2,588 / 31.29% No votes
To insure the continued operation and maintenance by the San Gorgonio Memorial Health Care District of an Emergency Department and its associated services on a 24-hour basis, shall the District impose an annual parcel tax of $38.00 per year per taxable parcel, with an annual cost of living increase based on the Consumer Price Index for ten years beginning July 1, 2002?

Proposition E. School Bonds -- Hemet Unified School District

7,648 / 37.22% No votes
Shall the Hemet Unified School District: Reduce overcrowding and class size by building new classrooms/schools; Make the District eligible for State matching funds; Repair, upgrade, construct and require-educational facilities and school sites, including furnishings, equipment and safety improvements; by issuing $60 million of bonds for the above purposes, at interest rates within the legal limit, with oversight by a citizen's committee in accordance with applicable law?
