Measure A. School Bond -- Greenfield Union School District (55% Approval Required)
2,242 / 65.5% Yes votes
1,181 / 34.5% No votes
Shall Greenfield Unified School District build a new elementary school, renovate McKee intermediate as a middle school, modernize Planz and Plantation Elementary Schools, construct a Family/Community Center, make health and safety improvements, upgrade classroom electrical systems, repair and renovate the deteriorating facilities to eliminate safety hazards, reduce overcrowding in classrooms, libraries, and computer labs, provide handicapped access, by issuing $5 million of bonds at interest rates below the legal limit?

Measure B. Parcel Tax -- Mojave Unified School District (2/3 Approval Required)
1,772 / 68.5% Yes votes
813 / 31.5% No votes
To maintain existing school programs, improve the quality of education, and to provide funds to modernize and update school faciltities, shall the Mojave Unified School District levy a parcel tax in the amount of $25.50 to be levied annually for a period of five years commencing July 1, 2002 and through June 30, 2007.

Measure C. School Bond -- Mojave Unified School Facilities Improvement District 1 (2/3 Approval Required)
1,365 / 71.2% Yes votes
552 / 28.8% No votes
Shall the Mojave Unified School District School Facilities Improvement District No. 1 issue bonds not to exceed $16,000,000 for the purpose of acquiring real property for, and financing the construction of, a new high school and new elementary school in California City, and with bonds sold at an interest rate not to exceed the statutory limit?

Measure D. Transient Occupancy Tax -- County of Kern (Majority Approval Required)
34,758 / 35.7% Yes votes
62,719 / 64.3% No votes
Shall the proposed county ordinance be enacted in order to maintain the existing increase in the rate from six percent to ten (10%) for the transient occupancy tax charged on room rental in hotels, motels, and similar establishments located in the unincorporated areas of the County of Kern?

Measure E. Parcel Tax -- North Edwards Water District (2/3 Approval Required)
67 / 54.9% Yes votes
55 / 45.1% No votes
Shall a special tax of up to $35.00 per lot or parcel and concurrent raise in the appropriations limit be approved for each of four fiscal years beginning July 1, 2002?
