The role of the Court is to enforce the law. Equally. For every citizen, regardless of race, creed, affiliation or social status.

I have a background that includes working in jobs as varied as boatyard maintenance, to flight instructor, to computer engineering, to being the senior partner of a 25 lawyer firm in Sacramento. I feel comfortable working with people in every social sphere including those who wear bluejeans to those who wear three piece suits. I understand people.

Three tours with the Marines in Vietnam taught me leadership and understanding of suffering. These practical lessons in life allow me to understand what makes people tick.

I can apply these life experiences so as to provide a fair court that understands people and helps the community.
