This information is provided by the candidate

1. I've been a democratic all my life. I began voting when I became eligible to vote in 1968. At the time I was a student at UC Davis. I became involved in the democratic process and was elected as a democratic convention delegate for Bobby Kennedy. Sadly, it was on the same night that Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed.

2. As a result of Bill Clinton signing the Hatch Act Reform,as a federal employee, I was able to run for the Democratic County Central Committee.

3. I am a Navy veteran. I am an employee of the Federal Government.

4. I am a Health and Safety Representative for the American Federation of Government Employees.

5. I am a member of the East Bay RSI Support Group.

6. I am a Carpal Tunnel Syndrome victim who has testified before OSHA twice on the need for ergonomic standards.
