Family:
- Wife, Janet Sikute has taught at the E.H. Greene Intermediate School for twenty years.
- Daughter, Karen (Sikute) Curth also a teacher is currently living in Tokyo, Japan for two years with her husband and two children.
- Son, Jeff Sikute is a sales associate with Ping Golf Company in Germany.
- Daughter, Dr. Jennifer Sikute is a staff psychologist at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
Janet and I both grew up in Akron, Ohio where I graduated from the University of Akron. After teaching for four years I entered private industry with Honeywell Incorporated. I was transferred to Cincinnati in 1973 in a management position and we moved to our present home on Bluewing Terrace in Blue Ash. When Honeywell decided to move out of our Reading location I successfully encouraged the company to locate in the City of Blue Ash. As a result of that encouragement the company moved to the corner of Malsbary Road and Reed-Hartman Highway. I have been fortunate to have been both a business resident as well as a private resident of Blue Ash.
It has always been my personal philosophy that all citizens should serve their communities as they are able according to their time and talents. I helped out with girl's soccer, boy's football, and coached Knothole Baseball for eight years. Now that I have retired from Honeywell I have more time to devote to my city. I hope my talents will serve to assist this city in providing a high quality of life for all of the residents of Blue Ash. I pledge that I will do my utmost for my constituents in Ward 5 as well as each and every citizen of this great city.
