I have lived in Terrace Park for 14 years with my husband, David, and our son, Tyler. Tyler is a sophomore at Mariemont High School. I am running for the Mariemont Board of Education for two reasons: 1) Mariemont City School District is known for its excellence in education and I would like the opportunity to continue this tradition, and 2) I wanted to do my part to give the voters a choice.

I was raised in North College Hill, the 3rd of six children, and graduated from McAuley High School. I received my B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Cincinnati. My teaching experience includes Cincinnati Public Schools, Cincinnati Insurance Board and Raymond Walters College. I have substituted in a number of districts, including Mariemont.

I received my MBA from Bentley College in Boston and my CPCU Designation while working in the Reinsurance industry as a Senior Underwriter. I am currently the Business/Finance Manager for Grandpa Brands Company.

I believe that one should give back to their community in any capacity they are able. As a volunteer EMT with Terrace Park Life Squad, my willingness to give up weekends, nights and holidays for the last twelve years, is evidence that I don't just "talk the talk". In addition, I was on the Board of The Terrace Park Players for a number of years and Past-President. I have also taught Sunday School for St. Andrews in Milford.
