Board Member; Lockland City School District

This information is provided by the candidate

My political policy is the policy of the Ohio School Boards Association. I believe that a good Board Member listens and represents the community in the leadership of the school district but does not try to run the district as "The Boss". The Board hires a Superintendent to run the day to day operations of the district and the Board has as its function to set policy and supervise the Superintendent and the Treasurer. We need to be concerned with the big issues (i.e. education, finance, and general policy) not micromanaging the district in each and every department.
