Experienced Leadership: 4 years of service to the community on the Board of Education, now in 2nd year as Board President

Dedication to schools and students: 15 year member of PTA, have served on multiple school and district committees. These have included Strategic Planning--Team Leader "How to make the district more Family Friendly", and starting School/ Family/ Community Partnerships, and presentations on their successes to state wide groups.

Vision of Excellence: Actively involved in strengthening Board, helping to make it a stronger, cohesive leadership voice for our students, district, and communities. Active in establishing and following through on Board and District Priorities. Spearheaded Board self-evaluations for the past two years, in an attempt to improve our service to the district.

Commitment: firmly support Board Priorities:

  • increased academic achievement for all students-- high expectations
  • approval of a viable facilities plan
  • increased accountability throughout district
  • personnel-- recruit and retain the best
  • technology updates
  • legislation -- impact on Princeton and our funding streams
