1. How would you implement your top priority?

Answer from Michael A. Howell:

Map all the current township drains, storm sewers, ditches and creeks around the problem areas. Then, working with the all other available government agencies, study the problems to determine a solution. This will most likely mean enlarging some current storm sewer piping and routing excess water into other areas. This will be a very costly endeavor that should be shouldered not only by the township but the county and the state.

Answer from Kathy P. (Pohl) Wagner:

I have been working on the Montgomery Road Widening Project since 1998. A Steering Committee was formed of : the private and publec sectors, the Engineers from Hamilton and Warren Counties, the Townships of Symmes, Sycamore and Deerfield, and, the Cities of Montgomery and Loveland. This Steering Committee has been meeting for the last year and together we have worked to hopefully obtain Tier I Status from ODOT. I am confident that we will receive Tier I Status this December.
