To keep Harrison a thriving, family-oriented community by: 1. encouraging more singel-family homebuilding 2. adhering to the Master Plan, 3. maintaining fiscal stability, 4. continuing to improve city services to residents, 5. encouraging citizen participation on City Boards & Commissions, and 6. by continuing the strong, strategic alliance with the School District and the inductrial community.

Answer from Judy Kercheval:

Continue to monitor all finances, stop any unnecessary expenditures, make sure surplus untouched and left for an extreme emergency.

Answer from Deborah L. Acra:

I believe it is the responsibility of a council member to insist on good government at all times. It is important to seriously consider how we raise money and how we spend it. We must provide the best for our citizens by being fiscally responsible and resististing the urge to require more tax dollars from our residents. Our accounting practices must be reviewed and all departments held to a strict budget. i will seriously review requests for additional funding from departments and require justification for the expenditures and comparable price quotes of the costs.
