Kids come first! The basic principle behind all decision-making must be to direct funds to the classrooms. The classrooms and the teachers are the foundation on which education rests.

We need to provide our children with a well-rounded education including both basic skills and enrichment programs.

We have to continue to attract excellent teachers to this district and to provide them with the tools and resources to teach our kids.

At the same time, we must use our limited resources wisely. We must demand a prudent and balanced use of our funds.

If we can encourage life-long love of learning, we will have done well by our children.
