My Personal Feeling About Growth on the Coastside

Personally, I wish I could stop growth. I love the open spaces. But as a Board Member, I follow the law.

I even bought the lot next to mine and have it as yard. And I have not watered my yard all year to conserve water. I would buy more open space if I could afford it.

But these are my personal feelings. I am only one person on the coastside. No growth is impossible, against the law and not realistic. My heart says "no growth". My head knows it must be "slow and controlled growth." And my principles say that as a representative of the people of the coastside, my job is to enforce their wishes and follow the principles of the duties entrusted to me by the people of the coastside.
