Continue working to revitalize San Bruno's business community and keep our tax base strong.Keeping a city's tax base strong is one of the most important things we can do. The revenue generated from sales tax and business tax helps pay for our police, fire and other essential services. The closure and slow-down of the San Francisco airport due to terrorist attacks in New York and Washington will badly impact San Bruno's economic base. We must be prepared to plan wisely and carefully to minimize that impact and to do all we can to encourage citizens to support local businesses. |
