Protecting and preserving our established neighborhoods is a high priority.Protecting the character of our neighborhoods has been and will continue to be, a high priority for me. I initiated a building moratorium on single family residences so that the planning department could develop new building guidelines to better control new construction and remodels. I will ensure that the revised codes provide for automatic notification of neighbors prior to approval of a new home or second story remodeling that will affect neighbor's views, privacy and home values. |
