For generations my family has lived in our community, working to provide outstanding public safety services to its citizens. My grandfather established our family realty here in 1906. My father was a firefighter and a Fire Commissioner for 36 years. I am striving to maintain Saratoga's quality of life, community values and above all, neighborhoods and public safety by running for Saratoga Fire District Commissioner on November 6.

As a Saratoga Fire Lieutenant and on-call Firefighter, I've provided Saratogans with fire,emergency and public safety services for more than three decades. My public safety experiences have always been focused in our local area. I previously served as a Santa Clara County Deputy Sheriff and Police Chief of West-Valley Mission College District. I am a member of the California State Firefighters Association.

As a member of the Fire Commission, I'll continue the efforts to protect, expand and improve your safety services. My priorities are:

  • Ensure that we maintain the highest levels of emergency service and rapid response;
  • Advocate local control to ensure that Saratoga-- Not surrounding areas-- continues to come first in receiving emeregency services; and
  • Work to see that our Fire Station is built as soon as possible and within budget.

Fire Commissioners Bob Egan and Hugh Hexamer, retired Fire Commissioner Henry Clark, Fire Chief Ernie Kraule, former Saratoga Mayor Ann Marie Burger and many others endorse me.
