Civic Accomplishments

By Cyr Miller

Candidate for Member, City Council; City of San Rafael

This information is provided by the candidate
Community involvement has sparked renewal throughout the City.
I am proud to have served on the San Rafael City Council for the last five years and am seeking re-election to continue our civic renaissance.

Community involvement in the betterment of our City has made the quality of life in San Rafael rise every year.

You and I count among our accomplishments large improvements in our downtown and in programs important to our residents and neighbors.

· Community policing and fire programs make safer and healthier city neighborhoods. · More affordable housing is brought to our city. · Downtown is booming. · Attractive 4th street sidewalks are installed. · A city-wide sidewalk repair/replacement program is set in place. · More than 44 miles of our tree lined streets have been paved. · State-of-the-art Parkside Child Care Center has been built at Albert Park. · Professional grade playing fields have been put in at Pickleweed Park. · New community pool is coming to Terra Linda. · More cultural arts events are celebrated at Falkirk. · Library services and hours have been expanded.

My commitment over the last four years has been to help direct our City's prosperity to building the caring community that you want it to be.

I am grateful to serve you as your Councilmember in this compassionate and progressive City. With your vote, I will have that special opportunity for another term.
