Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Al Mayberry

Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Tamalpais Union High School District

This information is provided by the candidate

Kids learn best when their interest is engaged. This basic tenet of educational philosophy is lost on my opponents who insist upon a regime of wall to wall requirements that take the life out of learning. None of them has ever worked with kids. I know how to employ modern concepts that put the fun back into learning and raise the standards.

We all try harder when we are interested, we use our whole selves with enthusiasm -- thus higher standards are attained than when just getting through boring assignments.
