Candidate for Governing Board Member; San Rafael High School District

Education & Qualifications
As a lifelong resident of Terra Linda who attended, and whose children attended, public schools in San Rafael, I have experienced the high quality of education available here. I have served as a leader on many school committees as well as athletic and social youth organizations. As a business owner and manager, I understand the importance of fiscal management and accountability. Currently, my combined skills are serving San Rafael as a San Rafael School Board Trustee

Our educational system is responsible for preparing our students to meet the ever-changing challenges of technology and the new economy. San Rafael City Schools will provide the highest quality academic programs for all its students by recruiting qualified and visionary teachers and administrators, increasing community partnerships and by fostering meaningful communication with our neighboring school districts. I will strive to ensure the best governanace and organization structure to meet these goals. The learning enviroment will be safe with modernized school facilities.

Healthy and productive communities depend on effective education of its young citizens. I am dedicated to providing the best possible education for all children in all our public schools. Tha
