Why Louise Howard and Frank Phillips think you should vote for Robert Fisher.
Dear Fellow Senior Citizens:

I am writing you this letter to urge you to vote for our friend Robert Fisher. He is running for a seat as a Director of the Marin City Community Service District. The date of the election is Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at the Marin City Community Center. This is a very important election. I have known Robert Fisher for 54 years. I witnessed him grow up in Marin City to become a great asset to our community. With Robert Fisher on our Board I know that our interest as seniors will be well served.

Vote for Robert Fisher on Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at the Marin City Community Center

  • Robert Fisher promises to bring fiscal responsibility to the District.
  • Robert Fisher promises to make sure that the median on Donahue St. is cleaned up and landscaped. Rocky Graham Park will be cleaned up and have new safe playground equipment installed.
  • Robert Fisher promises that your concerns will be heard. "Marin City is multi-dimensional. All of the residents' voices must be listened to. This is the only way that we can bring about a comprehensive change in Marin City."
  • Robert Fisher is fully qualified for the job. As the former Engineer responsible for Development Services for the City of Orinda Robert Fisher has the specific experience to meet the challenges of the future of Marin City.
  • Robert Fisher is a long time resident of Marin City (Resident since 1947).
  • Robert Fisher will work with county and state politicians to make your voice heard. He has met with county engineers, Sup. Annette Rose and Assemblyperson. Joe Nation to discuss several pressing issues surrounding Marin City.
  • Robert Fisher focuses on the needs of the seniors. When he discovered that senior homeowners were overpaying supplemental school property taxes he mounted a campaign to inform them of their rights. Working together with local ministers Fred Small and John Logan, they were able to regain overpaid school taxes from the Tamalpais and Sausalito School Districts for seniors.

For these reasons and many more we urge you to vote on November 6, 2001 for:

Robert Fisher For Marin City Community Service District Director

Thank you,

Your Neighbors Louise Howard and Frank Phillips
