Who is Robert Fisher Many of you know Robert Fisher. For those of you that don't know him please take the time to learn to know him.

Robert Fisher is a long time resident of Marin City

Born in San Antonio, Texas in 1947, Robert moved to Marin City at the age of 1 year old to live with his grandmother, Mattie Hogan. Robert has maintained his permanent residence in Marin City for 54 years.

Robert Fisher has family ties in Marin City

Robert's family has lived on Buckelew St. for 38 years. He was the first Marin City student to attend Redwood High School. All of Robert's children have lived in Marin City at one time or another. His older children have all gone on to become professionals and all of his younger children are college bound (all but his five year old are concurrent enrollment college students)

Robert Fisher has a long and varied Work History

Robert is an engineer with a career that has included work on some of the largest projects in the Bay Areas.

  • Field Engineer for San Francisco's Southeast Sewage Treatment Plant.
  • Field Engineer for San Francisco's Fort Mason Hard Rock Sewage Tunnel.
  • Chief Estimator and Field Engineer for several Bay Area heavy construction firms.
  • Director of the Construction Management Division for a Walnut Creek engineering firm.
  • President of a construction equipment leasing firm.
  • President of a computer manufacturing and repair firm.
  • Math teacher and Dean of Boys in an Oakland religious school.
  • Engineer to Design Review Boards, Planning Commissions, and City Councils.
