EXPERIENCED LEADERSHIP
For the past 33 years I have been involved with interest and commitment in a wide range of county and public boards and committees. I am currently the General Manager of a successful design studio in San Francisco. I know what it takes to run a business, and I know what it takes to run a town.

We are a small town that is part of a much larger community. We scramble for State and Federal dollars to help fix our roads, provide our services and preserve the beautiful environment around us. We are a fortunate community that is luxurious by world standards. We support having a good hospital and library close at hand, reliable public transportation, safe streets and quality education for our children. We support the acquisition of open space, the beautification of our neighborhoods, the protection of our Bay and the safety of our families.

We are all shaken and deeply saddened by the events of September 11. There is a war looming over us, and the economy is stumbling. The heightened security around our lives has changed the way we travel, the way we shhop and the way we plan for the future. We will never be the same as we were on September 10. We should not be.

How we deal with these changes begins here, in our hearts, our homes, our families and our institutions. More than ever we need strong and thoughtful leadership, not only here in Tiburon, but in every public office in America.

I believe the wisdom I have gained from my wide experience locally and county-wide will be a great asset to the people of this town. I ask for your vote on November 6.
