This information is provided by the candidate

My 15 years of professional geologic work experience will bring fresh and innovative solutions to old Sanitary District problems, such as groundwater infiltration into piping. Most of the District's facilities consist of underground structures - that is why a professional geologist would be such a valuable addition to the Board. My professional background in subsurface investigations, hazardous and non-hazardous waste recycling and disposal, environmental assessment, and regulatory compliance will bring new capabilities to the Board.

I am a California Registered Geologist, Oregon Registered Geologist, and a California Registered Environmental Assessor. I am a member of the Northern California Geological Society, the Groundwater Resources Association, and Citizens for Castro Valley.

I have a strong desire to serve our community. I am committed to Castro Valley and to a strong quality of life for all of us who live here.
