Candidate for
Mayor; City of Livermore

This information is provided by the candidate

It an honor and a privilege to serve as your Mayor. Together, we have accomplished a lot. I want to continue to work with you to enhance our quality of life, preserve our past, and plan our future. I want to move forward in the same thoughtful manner that brought us to where we are today.

I will continue to address affordable housing needs to ensure there is housing that our working families can afford.

I worked on our transportation needs by successfully fighting for funds for the new Isabel Expressway, and will continue to work to bring BART to Livermore.

I will continue to protect our agricultural heritage by supporting the creation of a permanent urban growth boundary and preservation of open space.

Our City's economy is strong, giving us financial resources to address neighborhood issues and public safety services.

Our downtown is exciting with the Valley Care medical facilities project, which will provide out-patient surgery, urgent care, and senior assisted living. We are also moving forward with the Livermore Valley Center project, which will bring new shops and restaurants, a public plaza, a 3-level parking structure, and a hotel and performing arts center.

Livermore has grown into a strong wine region with the adoption of the South Livermore Valley Plan.

I initiated Livermore's Promise for Youth and founded Tri-Valley Haven for Women, and continue to work with children and families. I initiated the Vision Process so everyone can participate in creating a shared vision for our future.

I am honored to be your Mayor and I value your vote.
