Making Three Soild Pledges to the People of the 3rd District.

By Dennis P. Zine

Candidate for Member, City Council; City of Los Angeles; District 3

This information is provided by the candidate
Dennis Zine doesn't just state a position or ramble on to make people feel better, but he will take a deliberate approach to dealing with key issues.
1)Giving Back to the Community. Dennis Zine pledges to give
back, $25,000.00 a year, $100,000.00 in four years to non
profits in the community. He will seek out others to match
and exceed his amount. Then create a committee made up of
a cross section of the district, to decide who shall get
the funds.

2)Neighborhood Partnerships. Dennis Zine will partner with
neighborhood groups and establish the neighborhood
councils. Critical issues to tackle include after school
programs and vocational counseling, stopping the Ahmanson
development and continue to find ways to reduce traffic
congestion, which is crippling our streets.

3)Public Safety. More people have been murdered in West
Valley division, which covers the 3rd district, so far in
2001 than all of 2000. This is unacceptable. Dennis Zine
brings hands on experience to tackle this. He will
continue to serve as a reserve officer stationed out of
West Valley Division and be on the front line for the 3rd.
