She's already working with us! Nancy Sidebotham's sign says it all, "She's already working with us!" (Remember Nancy has done it, is doing it, and will continue to do it!)

The lights are in and on at Kingsley Circle. Two children were hit by speeding cars and a murder occurred nearby. By putting in two street lights and helping to organize the block, Kingsley Circle is much safer. Nancy fixed it!

Nancy is fighting the proposed 600 home development at the Leona Quarry. Such a development will undoubtedly involve the widening of Edwards Avenue and the loss of over 80 homes. She was instrumental in preventing the "Big Box" Development at Leona Quarry in the past and is fighting for District 6 residents. Nancy listens to the community and has fought to make sure their voices are heard!

The light is being installed at Seminary & Outlook, again looking out for the safety of District 6 constituents!

Merchant groups have been formed or reorganized to give them strength and revitalize economic development in our District. She was the Co-Chair of the successful, citywide Shop Oakland 2000 campaign and will co-chair the 2001 campaign, bringing more dollars to Oakland businesses!

Nancy is endorsed by the people of District 6, your community activists. These are NOT big money contributors that demand payback.

Nancy was successful in securing two walking community policing officers to serve our residential areas and business districts.

Nancy is fighting to freeze the PG&E utility surcharge tax. We have many seniors and persons with disabilities who are at risk with the PG&E increase. We do not need to increase the utility surcharge tax as well. We must hold the city to last year's receipts. The city does not need to cut into us for more revenue. This is truly a misery tax! Support the freeze!
