BARRY RIEDEL FOR LCF CITY COUNCIL 2001
1355 1/2 Foothill Boulevard

My passion is for our beautiful community.

Vital issues in the March 6 election for La Caņada Flintridge City Council:

--Sewers: We cannot continue to use a antiquated, dirty and expensive system. We must have sewers--now! At the same time, we must work to provide affordable financing so that we can enjoy our homes at a reasonable expense.

--Development: Did you ever mention to someone you live in La Caņada Flintridge--then their eyes light up? They say "Oh--that's a nice community!" When we buy our dream home, we are not just getting a house on a lot--we are involving ourselves in a community of neighbors . Our community must develop in a vital, sophisticated manner--not as a mish-mosh. We should carefully review any construction that may turn out to profit individuals more than it benefits our community.

--Building A Sense of Community. We must all be informed of what is going on. All voices must be heard and considered. Decisions must be made, and we must progress. We need to join our energies and spirits to build a fine community. Together we can make the better, the best!

Respectfully I ask for your vote for City Council. Thank you for your consideration!
