The best way to increase affordable housing is to dramatically reduce the amount of Political control Over housing. Therefore, I propose a. phaseout of the state income tax over 3 - 5 years so that people have more of their own money to spend on housing b. repeal of any state regulation Or law that artificially drives up the cost of land and housing construction,, and urge local governments to do the same, such as restrictive zoning and rent controls.

No fund that is based upon coercive taxation can be "stable" since it is subject to political whims
