A replacement of a tax for the benefit of Miami Township, County of Hamilton, Ohio, for the purpose of CURRENT OPERATING EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding forty-six hundredths (0.46) mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to four and six-tenths cents ($0.046) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for four (4) years, commencing in 2000, first due in calendar year 2001.

Miami Township Unincorporated are Tax and levy replacement and increase 3.29 mill for fire and medical services. This is a 1 mill increase of the current levy of 2.29 mills will be replaced by 3.29 mill. 90% of the additional funds will increase manpower to the Fire Department Staff which is recommended by OSHA. 10% is to replace equipment such as fire pumpers (2) at 20 years old. The tax levy is for additional funding form manpower and equipment for Fire and EMS Service. This levy will provide additional manpower to the staff which is greatly needed, to provide fire and EMS service to our Township.
