Proposed Tax Levy Replacement and Increase

Information shown below:

A replacement of 0.8 mill of an existing levy and an increase of 0.2 mill, to constitute a tax for the benefit of the Village of Cleves, County of Hamilton, Ohio, for Recreational Purposes at a rate not exceeding one (1) mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents ($0.10) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for three (3) years, commencing in 2000, first due in calendar year 2001.

  Official Information

Cleves Parks or Recreational levy. This levy will increase from 0.8 mills to 1 mill (a 0.2 mill increase). The parks/recreational is expanding. Park usage has quadrupled. The levy will help support exciting additions including bike/walking trail, canal tunnel, BMX Bike Track, Amphitheater, additional soccer and baseball fields. The Village is committed to providing more family recreation for the community.
