A replacement of a portion of an existing levy, being a reduction of 2.5 mills, to constitute a tax for the benefit of the Village of Cleves, County of Hamilton, Ohio, for the purpose of Current Operating Expenses at a rate not exceeding six and thirty-three hundredths (6.33) mills for each one dollar of evaluation, which amounts to sixty-three and three-tenths cents($0.633) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2000, first due in calendar year 2001.

  Official Information

The Cleves Tax Levy is for the General Fund. This is a replacement with reduction. The current Millage is 8.83. Council proposes to replace this levy while reducing it by 2.5 mills. The levy will be used to finance essential village services such as Police, Fire, and Roads.
