Protect our Parks and Assist our Youth Programs

By Keith F. Millhouse

Candidate for Member of the City Council; City of Moorpark

This information is provided by the candidate
Keith Millhouse has a proven record of protecting our parks and assisting our youth.
Residents of the City appreciate the emotional and financial value that a healthy park system adds to the City. I am committed to maintaining the park system and ensuring that our youth have adequate facilities for their activities.

As it stands now, all the youth sports programs within the City have needs that are not being met by the incumbents. We have no restrooms at the Pop Warner Football field, the AYSO Soccer program has insufficient fields, Club Soccer needs a home field, additional Little League Fields and Softball fields are needed; to name just a few.

I am the only candidate with a proven committment to the youth in the Community. My commitment is reflected in my biographical section and is not just election year lip-service support that other candidates will give you. I will fight to see that we have the facilities and programs for the children, to offer them alternatives to negative influences such as drugs and violence.

Ask around in your youth sports group or organization, see who the interested leaders know and who they are supporting for City Council. It is only with the presence of people on the Council, such as me, that reflect the values and interests that are important to each of us, that we can ensure that the needs of our children are met.
