Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Greg Rolen

Candidate for
Member of the State Assembly; District 15

This information is provided by the candidate

There are many issues facing us that I believe need more attention from our local representative in the Assembly. But my immediate goals, and the means to achieve them are as follows.

  • To raise California's public schools above the national average by: 1) Attracting the highest quality teachers and making them accountable; 2) Raising per pupil spending; and 3) Improving school safety.

  • To protect the public from the proliferation of gun violence through: 1) Stricter enforcement of existing laws; 2) Stricter handgun registration and licensing.

  • To implement regional transportation solutions by: 1) Passing SCA3, a one-time measure to finance regional projects; 2) Providing incentives for counties to work together on smart growth plans.
