My name is John Munn. I am the Republican candidate for State Assembly in the 8th District. My position statements are described in detail on my web site at http://www.yvm.net/go/munn2000. Following are my goals as a member of the State Assembly.- Spending based on carefully planned budgets, with tax cuts to offset surplus tax collections. - Schools that provide proficiency in reading, writing, speaking in English, and basic mathematics. - Effective law enforcement and timely prosecution of criminals. - Health care made more avilable and less complicated for all workers and owners. - Control of local issues returned to local communities. - Protecting water quality and supply. - Preserving individual and property rights. |
