Family

Bruce and his wife, Denise, are the proud parents of six children: Amie, Emily, Aaron, Adam, Caleb and Molly. Amie and Emily are currently attending Kenilworth Junior High School. Aaron and Adam are in Sonoma Mountain Elementary school, and Caleb and Molly are still discovering the world in general.

Education

Bruce has a B.A. in Accounting from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. He earned his Masters in Business Administration at the University of Portland.

As a youngster, Bruce was active in 4-H, focusing on agricultural activities. He set high school and college records in track and field.

Occupation

Bruce is General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of J Winery in Healdsburg. He has a background in both the wine and dairy industries.

Community Involvement

  • Bruce is vice president of the local chapter of National Junior Basketball. He is a former director of the Petaluma Youth Soccer League.
  • He is a past or present coach in the following local youth leagues: Petaluma Girls Softball Association, Boys & Girls Club, Petaluma Youth Soccer League, Eastside Relays, National Junior Basketball.
  • Bruce was a member of the inaugural site council at Sonoma Mountain Elementary School.
  • Bruce is a member of the PTA at Sonoma Mountain and the PTSA at Kenilworth.
  • Bruce and his family are active members of St. James Catholic Church.
