As a Superior Court Judge, I will enforce the laws and provide fair, effective and timely justice in both criminal and civil cases. I'll sentence criminals firmly and fairly. I support proactive domestic violence intervention and effective diversion programs such as Teen Court and Drug Court.

I'll embrace new technologies, such as placing all court information on-line, to reduce court delays and promote accessibility. I'll work to make jury duty less burdensome on citizens. I support providing court services in Petaluma, Sonoma, Cloverdale and the West County so citizens don't always have to travel to Santa Rosa.

I'm a lifelong Sonoma County resident. I will continue to build on my family's tradition of public service through education and volunteerism.

I will bring to the bench a broad legal background in representing the working families of our county, teachers, family farmers, police officers, firefighters, union members, parents, senior citizens and small businesses. This broad legal background and eleven years of volunteer service as a Sonoma County Judge Pro Tem give me the experience needed to be your next Superior Court Judge.
